Help Led flashing slowly for seemingly no reason when screen is off

No luck searching, basically whenever the screen is off the led on the front will start flashing slowly and constantly. Yesterday (1st day I had the phone and rooted it still running the stock rom) it flashed red, now today it started doing it in green. Same slow constant pattern. Stops immediately when i wake the screen, and restarts when the screen is off. The only push notifications I have are for GO SMS and the led option is turned off. Any clues appreciated.

yeah thats a stock rom bug.... to fix it you can either just reboot or try clearing your call log. sometimes that works for me when on complete stock rom.

on cm7, miui, ics, and the themed stock roms i havent noticed it. so if your interested try one of those to fix the problem. :D

Sweet I'll be trying a new rom then. thanks!
 
Mine is stock and does the same. What I did is just use the kill app ( can't remember the full name of it) to kill unwanted apps running and that took care of it. Annoying anyways.
 
I'm on stock Rom as well, whenever someone calls, I get a slow green LED after I hangup every single time. I just clear the notification (at top) by rolling it up and down.
 
Running Cm7 now....so awesome...touch screen is more responsive....all the other custom tweaks are amazing. Love this phone now.

that happened to me when i got mine 7/12 i finally took it back and replaced if it has been 30 day call v/m for a replacement
