Help LED not working

I noticed a couple of days ago that the LED on my phone is no longer flashing for calls, messages, notifications or even when charging.
I've not done an update recently, and I have the box for LED green / checked - I even unchecked and re-checked it, but still nothing is flashing.
Any other ideas?
