LED notification for texts/missed calls has quit working after the update

I made sure led was turned on but when I get a text, there's no led. Can this be fixed? I don't want to have to turn on my phone all the time when I'm expecting a text...
 
Sadly I think this has happened to me also. I do run Light Flow, so that could explain some of it.

Have you rebooted your phone after the 4.2 install was complete? Anything else you have running that can effect notifications?
 
I've rebooted at least a couple of times because I have some apps that quit working. I have notifications turned off for all apps except for the texting app (which is GoSMS). Maybe it's the app that is causing the light to not come on.
 
remove as many variables as you can and see if it works. then slowly add things back in to isolate the issue
