I researched this a bit, but couldn't find a common answer. I have a Galaxy Nexus, but I'm thinking this is an Android characteristic? When I receive an email and the screen is already off, the notification LED blinks until I unlock my phone and check it. No problems. However, I noticed that if I get an email or a text and I was using my phone at that time, or my screen was already on, but I DIDN'T check it, and then the screen turns off, the LED doesn't blink. I figure that it would be useful if the LED would blink regardless of whether or not the screen was on or off at the time when I get a notification. Is this how it is? And is there a fix?
