LED notification on Moto Droid?

Does anyone know if the Moto Droid has LED notification for new messages, IMs, emails, etc? I see something that looks like it might be the LED in the upper right hand corner of the device, can anyone confirm?

It does look like it would tell you if you have a new sms etc but i dont think its bright enough for my liking. Theres another bit that looks like it could be a led at the bottom of the phone when in portrait mode, but i haven't seen it light up yet.

EDIT: Actually in that video in the link above it looks brighter than i had seen it in another vid.
