Help led notification

My friend bought this phone and he can't get the LED Notification light to work at all and I was wondering if someone could write the directions to getting there and turning it off/on please, I'd appreciate it.

I have the same phone and it doesn't work on mine either.

then I think it just doesn't work, bc I went thru every setting and there was nothing to turn it on or off, but he said it works when it charges, but thats it. it's prolly defective.

Sorry to burst your bubble. But there is not LED notification on the LG Axis. The thing you probably THINK is a LED notification is a light sensor...

Thats how your phone knows whether its up against your face or not.
