led only 1 color for notifications? :/

got my m8 a few days ago - this is a really great device imo

BUT, why only the single green color led for notifications? :/
my s3 had a few - at least 2 would have helped - as i know it can do orange for power

thanks for the quick reply - yeah im a LF beta test and have been chatting to the dev - he isnt sure it can be sorted, but does have his eye on an interesting driver file he reckons! ....would have to be rooted obviously - im holding off doing that as only got it 3 days ago, and i think it prevents any further official updates :/

I wish I could get my led to work for notifications! I'd rather not do a factory reset.

EDIT: Factory reset done and working! Now I have to figure out what apps I want back dare it! It was easier before, I liked how it downloaded everything automatically. Is there a way to do that since I skipped that step already in the set up?

Are there any alternatives to Lightflow for the M8? This is actually a deal breaker for me, as I got spoiled by the multi-color LED feature on the Nexus 4, and could never go back to having to turn on the phone to see what notifications I have, when I can just glance at it

Wow, does that work on the M8? How harsh is it on the battery?

Worked on the M7, wasn't very bad at all Made it through the day. I can only imagine the m8 will do much better, though I have not tried the app on it yet

led stops after 5 mins - whats that about htc?!

....all the notification apps ive tried seem to be a bit hit and miss - srong case for root im guessing :/

Really?! Then what good is an LED at all if it doesn't "notify" you?

Maybe I could live with one color. But an LED that disappears? No way. I will pass on the M8 if this is the case.

LED light hardly works, only when charging.. But WHY THE HECK is it so dang small?????? Can't even see it

After using a Oneplus One for a couple of weeks where I can set any colour led for any notification I would have to agree with you on that.
