LED Screen

My phone LED screen keeps blinking on and off even though the phone is locked. I'm losing out on the battery life due to this. Is it common or are there any settings that I need to look into. Please advice & TIA.

YES!! Even if I dont touch the phone it blinks on & off

just a quick question just bought my xpria a month ago and now I am having problem as the screen always prompts the option menu whenever I text. Is this a bug?

PLEASE HELP...

@shoyz - I would advise running a software update on your handset as this is far from normal behavior for your phone:

@Martin19 - This may be software or potentially a hardware issue. However does this happen on other screens as well and if so do you have a third party case on the handset? I ask as this can interfere with the buttons and create this symptom.
