It is possible to make the LED flash different colors when you receive a text. I mean like it starts red, then the next flash is blue and so on. I know you can change it but not for different colors.

And is it possible to change the color of the charging and charged light?

I use GO SMS Pro and it allows you to customize the color of the LED for received messages.

I don't know about the charging and charged light, sorry.

Handcent will also let you change SMS notification LED.

And as stated above, I don't think you can change the charging/charged color.

I know you can turn it on/off via LEDs Hack. Just set it to LG Shine Plus.
