Help Legend just shuts off

Hey all,

I have a problem with my HTC Legend,
It just randomly shuts off and I can't turn it back on.

When I remove the battery and put it back in, the phone will work again. Just so he can shut off in a couple of minutes somtimes hours again.

I'm sorry for my bad Enlish, I'm Dutch
I hope someone can tell me what the problem is.

If you have a task killer on the phone, remove it.
If the problem continues, backup your data to PC/cloud, format the memory card and do a factory data reset (from settings).

I already did a factory reset, or I think so.
I used the option in the settings menu. but it still shuts off not as much as it used to did though.
When I have time I'll format the memory card

Can it be a heat problem or somthing, somthing like, when it gets to hot he will shut off or something?
