Help Lenovo tablet LOCKED by google

I have a Lenovo that I just factory reset.

Going thru the new clean setup, when I enter a Google account to use

it demands an account thats been previously used on the device.

Now I go back to Android 2.something (Froyo, I think) and have never seen anything like this.

How to fix???

how did you factory reset the device? was it a hard reset using the power +vol combo? if so then you have tripped FRP(factory reset protection). you will need to enter the google account info that was originally used to setup the device.

was this device bought used? if so do you have the contact info of the original owner?

Thanks for the GOOD info.

But, I was able to get into it by just clicking I forgot my account number. Away she went.
