I hit factory reset on my Lenovo tablet was going to sell it decided to keep it now when I try to set it up I connected to internet. Next screen says google and says this device was reset to continue sign in with google account that was previously synced to this device I put in my email address then it won't let me sign in. I get a message at bottom says please sign in using one of the owners accounts for this device. What did I do wrong and how can I fix it. I know my email address it works on my other devices

Factory Reset Protection was introduced starting in Android Lollipop and is an anti-theft security feature. After resetting you'll need to know the email and password that was used prior to resetting.

Are you sure you didn't use another email for that device? Info below might be helpful...

Google Factory Reset Protection:

If you don't remember your Google password you can reset it after logging in (you may have to wait 1-2 days before the new password works):
https://mail.google.com

Next time you reset - To remove your email even after resetting:
1. Remove any PIN or swipe pattern for the lock screen
2. Go into Settings - Accounts and remove your account (and any others)
3. Then factory reset the device.
After that it shouldn't ask for your email with Factory Reset Protection.

My tablet is not a nexus and I have changed my password and tried logging into the device at the google screen and still don't work. So this does not help.

For information, FRP can apply to all Android tablets and phones with 5.x Lollipop or later, not just Nexus devices. Did you buy it brand new sealed-in-the-box, or second hand? Has anyone else used the device prior to you?
