Quiet a beginner when it has come to my new phone but I want to maximise it's potential. I have a Galaxy S firmware 2.2 and thats all I know. Where do I start????

I don't want to be a buffon who only knows how to install things from android market place.

Well 1st I guess you should be on the latest firmware i.e. 2.3.3.

So maybe it would be a good idea to connect to Kies and update the firmware as the 1st step.
