Root Let's Get CM Onto Avant!

There's really nobody here to build roms for us at the moment, we have one person trying to build cm12.1 but its not working out so well. The only other dev we have is J03l and I honestly don't know where he went.

Seems we went from a buzz of activity and high hopes to dead in the water with no land in sight.

Oh well, at least we got a mostly functional AOKP out of the bargain.

hmm yes i had been doing alot of that lately... very poor signal and hardly ever see LTE so i admit i was putting preference LTE only. Thank you for your reply. Im back to stock now, but going back in recovery to my cm backup

LTE is for data only so it won't let you send or receive calls unless you allow it to change network type

Years he is better now luckily his appendix was just punctured they gave him antibiotics to control the swelling but in 6-8 weeks the hospital is taking it out

It's all up on XDA, I suggest you check over there. Follow that link and download cm12.1 and the zip right above it, that's a kernel that fixes data. Just flash the rom, kernel then Gapps

No lockscreen lag from my tests

Are you guys talking about that cm12.1? It's pretty bad yeah. Lockscreen lag was there for me, no proximity sensor, no camera, and I experienced incessant reboots when waking up the phone.

Agreed but I don't recall have any problems with lockscreen lag reboots yes

The Reboots have not affected me yet. Also the lockscreen is smooth as butter!

BT fix no WiFi no tether auto brightness broken reboots stop no cam dialer t9 overlay issues (that might of been my theme) it is smooth no prox sensor I had to go back to AOKP but I'm using dudes kernel its pretty good

The dialer problem is your theme I believe. I use the same one sometimes and it does the same thing to me.
