Root Lets Get Root

I heard from a real source from metro pcs that they are going to start charging for tethering and rooting our phones. That so many people want there phones to be rooted, and metro wants to make money and charge to root them.
Also metro is going to do a system check of your cell out of the blue, and if you cell is rooted or unlocked, they are going to void your warranty so you can't replace it, or even get it fixed when you send it in, and they will put it on your account that your phone is rooted and they will not help you with anything anymore when you call 611.
These F-ing companies are f-ing with our rights to have no b/s bloatware, and mobads, pop ups, on or cells and it is not right because we bought these phones with our own cash/credit, then we should be able to do what we want and root without any b/s from these companies trying to force us to deal with factory locked phones!!!
WE HAVE NO RIGHTS ANYMORE!!!
 
Are you guys still talking about finding a root for the samsung galaxy admire 4g from metro pcs, or did Shabby, and KoNane and the rest give up? :(

I just got back from a Metro store with a new phone since I had to warranty mine, and the guy behind the counter even saw that I had 6 binary uploads. Was that a problem? Nope!

New phone no questions asked.

I still haven't given up.
 
The sales people in metro pcs stores don't know much about anything including apps, and root programs, or anything about the phone you ask about. Maybe a little, that's all.
They are just sales man and woman that are trying to sell you on whatever you like and intrigue you into buying and throwing your money away.
Pretty soon all phones will be implanted in your hand so the government and companies can really take control of what you are doing and when you are doing it. It's on it's way people, get ready, it's coming....That shit you saw on the new total recall is no bull. I spoke to a source in samsung, and they and nokia are doing trial test inplants as we speak. WTF is this world coming too? No privacy, no freedom...

Do you mind stating who your source inside Samsung and Metro PCS are? I mean, you're making some outlandish claims here. Would be nice if you have something to back it up other than "I spoke to someone inside..."

The source is my friend and i can't tell you his name, he will get fired.
He works in tech for metro in corp, not the store which none of those so called techs know much of anything. LOL.
Sorry i am just letting you guys know what is going to happen soon, i dont know when, but metro is working on it... Don't shoot the messenger, i bring good info. :)

Yes but they didn't perfect it then, now they did and there are already rich volunteers waiting for the implants. Not everything real or the truth is on google.
Remember, google, facebook, myspace, twitter, skype, etc.. are being paid by the government to get all the info about what we like and don't and they use it by selling it to all the so called nice companies that we all know and trust.
So be very careful what you write or say on the internet, the gov is always listening, they have eyes and ears on everybody. :)
A lot of my friends are real hackers, they keep me up to date. :)
 
the only ones having issues are the old POS samsung devices, the admire had a good life, the sgs3 is running good.

this phone is the attain 4g in a new body. then attain was the indulge 4g without the keyboard and newer software. you guys paid 150 bucks for a phone that came out over 2 years ago (except you are getting it gimped hardware wise and giongerbread). heck even the attain 4g was cheaper. metropcs took a chance of hoping people would see the sgs3 and the admire 4g and think because they look similar they would perform similar. judging by here and on their facebook so far they have sold quite a good number of them too...

if you guys are that determined to have these specs could always sell this phone for 110ish and buy an attain for 80ish and have root, or spend 60ish and get an indulge and have root/recovery/roms...

It's okay as long as you don't mind stock apps. Runs good on games and has a smoove user interface. Would like an update because it deserves to have ICS or Holo as a stock launcher. And I'm fine without root for now.
 
Finding root on our Samsung Galaxy Admire 4G should still not be given up on. There will be root, we just have to wait for it to come. It takes time, sometimes more than others, and if it doesn't come, just throw it out, because without root, we just have no control over our phones, stupid bloatware, advertisements, piece of mind, and freedom!
Don't give up guys! :)
 
If any of you, unlike me are willing ttake risks with your SCH-R820, just remove yor baattery and reinsert it after a couple seconds. Then hold power key and down volume key. It will ask you if you want to doenload a custom OS. It looks like official android stuff but Im scared to do it on my phone because i know if i **** it up, I might not get another until college. But someone try downloadin it and see what happens.

been following this thread for over a month... was really hoping you android gurus would figure it out. so here is a bump of motivation. you can do it guys!
 
How about for motivation we each donate $25+ in beer money to whom ever finds a way to root it? Nothing motivates a person like free beer.
