Feel like I've been stalking u kct. Can't believe to hated being John Malkovich so much.... Smh.. I don't know if we can still be friends :turtle:

So kct, ur into video production? I dabble myself. Xha1s here

Yup...that was my Major in College.

While its not my day job, I do work as a camera man occasionaly with a local video production crew that tapes local high school and college sports.

It is something I like to do for fun....

So what video work do you do ?
i do a lot of work for Gospel music (hip hop mostly) here in atlanta. it's something i just got into about 3 years ago through my church. i shoot sometimes, and use CS6 for editing. im an amateur all-around, but work with some really talented people on the production side.

That is great! Honesty, the more work you do with a camera, the better you get at shooting.

One recommendation, if you are doing a set shoot (not moving around much while shooting), use a tripod. Especially with smaller cameras, the makes the video less shaky.

... My wife is out of town, I've been setting up a studio at my brother's house for hours and totally lost track of time... I have to go to bed.. Didn't realize it's 130....gotta be up at 6:eek:
Night all!

Good advice. What cams u shoot with?

The ones I use with the video crew are Pro style Sony HD Cameras.

My personal on is a Semi Pro Panasonic....I can't remember the model name and number. But if your really interested, I will be glad to PM you the info. I do remember my personal camera only cost about $1,500 and it shoots great video.

BTW...another good piece of equipment to have is a mono pod if you do have to move around a lot.
