Not exactly marc ,For everyday tasks ,both perform equally . Though I have tested the Asus only on DOS which will appear fast in any case :rofl:

well according to the spec sheet it is a quad core cpu and has 6mb of smart cache while the i5 is a dual core and only has 3mb of smart cache...

true .which only be useful for really proc .intensive programs.....
I have no clue why the April Asus lineup doesnt have ivy bridge models ..
