its kind of a slap in the face....whats that really gonna do for me? lower it 10-20 a month....havent had an accident in over 7 years and last ticket was 3 years ago...

The time that an accident/ticket will affect your rates varries by state. In NC it is 5 years but they can decide to cede your application for 7 years. Most states can rate you for at least 5. You could look into other things to change your rates if you want...why am I discussing work at work...:o

Yeah, I almost got sucked into that trap.

Yeah there were guys who had been at the place I was working there for 20+ years and bragging at making $13/hour...I realized yeah not what I want/need to do...I did get 2 kids out of that job...

Ya know, you could try taking online classes. I have had some friends get college credits that way.

That is my plan...where I work now will pay for online schooling...might try to get something with business...but any 4 year degree would help here

Yup, I worked with one woman who got a clock and uniform pin for working for 25 years with the supermarket company, and she was a cashier the whole time.

That is one of the things that kind of me a wake-up call to leave. I figured if I tried to do that I would kill myself first.

The one I worked at had no respect for the employees, the turnover rate for the front end (where I was) had to be about 90% in the first month...

the funny thing was, my rates never went up for either of those. they went up when i went rom a Corolla to the Jeep Grand Cherokee. and even then it was only $20/mo. actually not even that much. about $17/mo, but you get my drift. and unfortunately USAA is the cheapest it gets so i dont have other choices to go lower

I hear ya! The managers I had played games with the schedule. Gave their favorites the best schedules and screwed others like me!

USAA pretty much the best insurance company out there (they have the highest customer satisfaction rating beating the rest of the industry by at least 10%) and Jeeps cost more to insure because they traditionally have a worse safety record than other vehicles...

And last time I had my rates ran (for liability only) my insurance would cost almost $600/month so any money off that would be great ;)

Yup, me too. I only have liability myself.

Angl please keep posting your quotes please...or the difference...I want to see how much more my company wants but don't want to say where I work...

yea i know jeeps are more to insure but i was surprised how little more i would be paying vs the car i had. i love USAA and would never dream of leaving them. the last accident i was in (not my fault) his insurance company wanted me to pay for half my front bumper (guy literally ran me over going in reverse) because there were prior scratches on it. USAA jumped all over that as soon as i called them about it.

I'm telling you USAA is the best you are going to get...if you want I can get a big list of insurance company names for you to try...

I completely agree with Yeahha!

USAA is the best that you can get! If you have it or can get it, keep it!
