Does it explain the shinagami in DN? I've wondered about them...at first I figured a human that touched a DN would become a shinagami but after the series I don't think that is the case

The problem was light was not L . L could predict everything while sitting in one place while Light needed to move around to strategize and place his pieces ....

Yeah going to LA was a bad move for him...had he given up on family he would have done better

Alright it has been in my queue for a while I suppose I will read it now...changing series you should watch high school of the dead...ecchi...well blatantly...and zombies...not bad :D
