Yes but i will do it again on my laptop when i get home....was kinda bright out when i did this morning

Doesn't look like there is anything besides root and the android market (which you need root and adb to get). I've heard of the Cowon D3 (well at least I think it was the D3...) a while back when I was thinking about getting a PMP... Specifically the Samsung P3 which isn't android powered, but is still awesome even if it is like 3 or 4 years old... It had a few elements of android before android existed...
can't give it a good review but it does play podcasts and music which is about all I use it for.
