Well it's an HTC phone... My phone. The MT4GS has the same exact SoC as the SGS2 skyrocket which is clocked at 1.5GHz while the MT4GS is only clocked at 1.2GHz... Well stock at least...

The same thing ..One major consideration is heat involved . My phone before it took first trip to Samsung crapere could withstand 844 Mhz (600Mhz is default ) .After the trip the max bearable was 768 Mhz .

But I still believe it is a marketing gimmick .
They will release a MT4GS+ or prro or XL or whatever with 1.5 Ghz......

True. I guess. But I think HTC is done with the mytouch series... T-Mo has gotten LG to make 2 mytouch phones and the next one is made by Huewei... So I highly doubt that...
