The remake was a travesty. It was a Mustang and it turned off a LOT of original viewers. I'm betting if they had convinced Pontiac to build a new Firebird (rumor is they could've built a Firebird with a few tweaks of the GTO available at the time---400 HP RWD coupe) then maybe Pontiac wouldn't have died off like it did. GM management can be so dense sometimes.

Yea that one. And Yea I understand... although I have never seen the original Knight Rider and the Mustang was sweet! then again I am kinda biased... I love Mustangs

I'm starting to lean more towards the Mustang side as far as ponycars are concerned. I used to own a GTO like the one below, but the buying experience was atrocious so I swore that it would be the last GM vehicle that I ever bought. I've had my eye on one of the new Mustangs for awhile. I'd like to get into a Laguna Seca if possible.
