Old news. LOL.

It's going to be called the HTC Evo V 4G. I guess it would be between $299.99 and 349.99.
I was right. Just like some people thought we'd get LTE, I knew we'd be getting WiMAX.
LTE is reserved for postpaid.

I know all this ;) I hang around the VM forum as well as the MT forums... I've heard rumors about it for months...

And LTE may be limited to postpaid with Sprint/ VM/ Boost but when T-mo gets it next year it more than likely will be available to both prepaid and postpaid customers

They'll have to weight that in carefully though as LTE is more cost heavy.
That is why they are eliminating the iDen network (Walkie-talkie).
The towers were needed for the conversion to LTE. WiMAX is cheaper to maintain. That is why it was cost effective for them to hand that down to their MVNO's. Unless they completely drop WiMAX, We won't see LTE here at Boost/Virgin Mobile.

Until the contract with Clear is up, We likely won't see it.

WiMAX v. LTE - a weird thing. As far as I understand it, they are quite different. With WiMAX being an IEEE 802 tech while LTE is another generation of cell tech right?

It's all too much for my brain waves.
 
Anyone up for a tag team spam attack later? Mine will have to be brief (30 minutes or so) ...but i figure I could just out 100...posts....in that time
