Ok, with lots of trial and error, I've got hacked pyramid kernel 3.0 of intervigilium to boot on doubleshot. It got to lock screen, which is simply really great progress, tho it kernel panics there. Were getting close to a working v3 kernel!!
Gotta sleep now, but kornyone is looking at the issues that persist

YES!!!! . The MT4GS will soon have a 3.0 kernel

no... Well unless you are in an area that the 1900 band has been reformed for HSPA... If you want T-mo 4g then I would say SGS2, HTC Amaze, HTC MT4GS, AT&T Gnote, or the GNex.

do they have an integrated modem that can be used with LTE? If not they aren't gonna be coming to the US more than likely anyways...

Not really .Samsung are device manu. so they can produce it quite cheaply . They just wanted to get rid of their 4 series first before they introduce 5 series . GS3 is quad core 4 series so they decided to bank on the S line up to get rid of it .
I wouldn't buy (if I had the monies ) anything less than A15 core . HTC One S is the only handset with the A15/Snapdragon S4.
technically it is better than Quad core Tegra 3 ,....
