[LF] Dialer without photo support

Hi, I'm a proud Nexus 4 owner, and it is my very first smartphone. I love browsing the web and getting my reddit wherever I am, but I hate using smartphones as phones. Their flat shape is terrible to hold against the ear.

Anyways, I have tried dozens of dialers and they are all similarly inefficient to my liking.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a dialer designed without those photo placeholders that I will never ever fill with photos (privacy concerns). It seems to me I could be doing a lot less scrolling if each line for the contact was condensed...

Thanks!

I'm guessing, probably not as it's a 'feature' people seem to like. Not sure why - I only have one picture association: the very idea of trawling through my contacts finding pictures to add exhausts me ;)

It wouldn't hurt to take a look through the dialers on the play store. A quick glance at the images should tell you if they exclude the thumbnails.

how do i restore google dialer? if i had disabled it

i found out how, settings :0

perhaps it's a bug but I tries swipe dialer and it too didn't have the red cancel button.

That's correct Digital Controller, I was able to re-establish it, but had to re-enable the dozen or so google services I had stopped. The play store and any dialer I used were malfunctioning without that. Even had to clear play store data to make it work.

Rocket dialer is awesome, exactly what I wanted.

The stock kitkat dialer is atrocious. How do these smartphone software makers forget what a phone is primarily designed to do :P
