LF suggestions on slim/soft touch case.

Hey first time poster here on these boards and just yesterday i picked up the F3 for virgin mobile. I am coming from a 3 year old optimus v that was a wonderful phone for me but it was time to upgrade (got this f3 for 79.99), only thing so far i dislike about the F3 is the feel of the back of the phone, a bit slippery to me plus i was used to the soft touch feel of my optimus V for all these years.

So far the best match i have come across is this:

Wow it wont let me link case cause its my first post, but just search for Incipio LGE-194 Feather for LG Optimus F3 on amazon.

Its small and has a soft touch coating which is what i am looking for, but a bit spendy! I would even be willing to buy some sort of textured spray if they sell such a thing, and apply it to my stock f3 back cover.

If anyone has any suggestion on a case similar to the one above id appreciate it, just started lookin for cases today.

This is the case i have. I love it. It's $16 dollars on amazon right now. I paid $15. It fits nice. lets the phone's chrome stay visible and is not bulky. The cover is a little slick but not as much as the phone itself, it actually helps when taking it in and out of my belt case. I have never dropped it yet. (knock on wood).

Hmm good thing i asked, i definitely am looking for a more grippy case, similar to the feel of my optimus V. If anyone has any suggestions for a slim case id appreciate it, preferably a slim line case that doesn't cover the volume/power buttons. THanks.

I don't have a recommendation for a specific case, but it sounds like you may want to consider a TPU case - they are grippy without being tacky like silicone cases, and add fairly little bulk to your phone. If you use a search like "virgin mobile f3 case tpu" on Amazon or eBay, you should get some promising results. :)

I have the Incipio LGE-190 NGP for LG Optimus F3 and it is a pretty nice case, althought I don't know why it is 18 bucks now, I think I paid 12 for it. Makes the phone feel much more solid without being bulky, has good grip. Sometimes a corner will slip off.

I wish there was a different battery cover for F3. Rather than adding the bulkiness of the case to a this little phone, I'd be happy if the cover felt a bit softer. Perhaps there is something on eBay.

Agreed.

I am perfectly happy with a case on it, but the real problem with the case design is the back feels uber cheap.
