LF2 faster than LFB!!!!??

Hi I'm pretty distressed.

My dad and I bought an S3 each.
Mine is LFB and his is LF2.
We noticed that the LF2 gs3 is much smoother than LFB... scrolling is faster. The screen is brighter with both phones on max brightness. although both have updated to the latest firmware, his youtube app and other noticble differences makes the lf2 just a smoother phone. LFB seem sluggish in comparison.

Is this something everyone knows about?

Someone please enlighten me about this issue.

Whereas XXBLFB has added some new features, generally it feels slower. I am hoping that this is resolved in the next XX release

so am i right in thinking that the lf2 is just a the same phone with less features?! i can't update the lf2 anymore.

Its just an older version of the samsung software build of android.
