LG 4 will not turn on, can't even hard reset. Help!

I cannot get it to do anything. The LG screen comes on, then it turns off. I tried a soft reset. No luck. I tried a hard reset, and could not even get that to start up. Please help! Tried 3 batteries as well.

Any idea what happened to get it in to this state? Failed update or something? Can you get it to boot to the bootloader/download mode?

I have no idea. I was sending an email with a picture and it froze. I could get the screen with the options to safe mode, hard reset, etc. but none of them worked. Help!

Do you know what version of firmware you were running? Are you rooted? Do you have access to PC? If you have access to PC try entering download mode by holding Vol+ and Power and connect USB. Does it connect and stay connected in download mode? If so you can probably just reflash the firmware. Let us know how you get on.

Mine had the same problem and Sprint replaced it under a warranty recall issued by LG.

The recall is directed to production before a certain date and is a known issue.

Go to your carriers store (not a franchise) to see what they can do for you.
