I would take this with a grain (actually a big ole chunk) of salt, just a rumor nothing confirmed. According to a tweet by a French tech blogger who was visiting LG:
LG will release a Windows Mobile 7 mobile phone in September and an Android 2.1 mobile phone in April in the USA followed by Europe just after that.
The tweet was later removed.
