Help LG-C710h-V10d update info?

Well it was available so I updated it
I don't know if it is just my feeling
but I feel like my phone is running a little bit faster and smoother.

I am curious what the v10d update includes...

also, is it just me that all the apps actually stayed in the phone,
and all you had to do for back up was the contacts and calendars?
I thought I would lose all the data in the phone,
but apparently not...

I could not tell if there is any difference in speed or performance. In another thread, it is believed that the update fixed an international roaming issue.

I do notice that the "battery use" under "About phone" has been crippled under the new update. Before the update, the battery use gave a detailed breakdown of the battery usage by the different apps or functions. Now it just shows that "Android System" uses 99% of the battery usage.

What version is specified in the about phone section?

Also, would anyone be kind enough to Nandroid the latest version? And how did you update, OTA or LG update software?

I installed the update from the LG Support site today after which the About phone showed the following information:

Firmware version
2.1-update1

Kernel version
2.6.29
lg-electronics@android3g5-desktop #16

Buid number
ERE27

Software version
LG-C710h-V10d

When I clicked on Battery use it showed the following:
Android System 98%
Cell standby 2%

I hope the LG-C710h-V10d update fixes the USA roaming issue. I'm tired of getting lost over there and not being able to use my GPS and data plan to get Navigation to work. So far, I've managed by stopping at McDonald's and using the WiFi there.

ok so i didnt kno to back my phone up before updating. my computer froze at 14%. now i get stuck at the telus screen when i try and turn my phone on. its like if it didnt load any of the system stuff back. is there anyway to fix my mess up?
