Thanks to Forum contributors, I was able to root my Metropcs LG Connect and remove most pre-installed "fluff." However, still troubled by the annoying "What's New" icon. Anyone know whether it can be safely removed? Have not seen it listed as part of the safely removable "Bloatware" cited on the Forum. I am presently using "Titanium Backup" to uninstall apps. Thanks for any help!
