Help Lg connect help

I used my older phone for wi-fi but it was really slow so I decided to do a factory reset. After I reset it It would not turn back on. It is stuck on the LG logo and wont turn back on. Someone help me. I already called LG but all they said was take the battery out and press the power button and insert back the battery. Nothing helped. Anyone know what I can do?

First thing I might try is using the LG Mobile Support tool. I think it works while in download mode. Heres a link to the tool:

Ignore the G3 stuff, there's a link to the support tool down the page a ways. You'll also likely need the LG United mobile drivers which you can get from the LG site or elsewhere with a search. I'd install those first.

I'm no expert on the Connect but if I read a past thread correctly it appears you can remove battery, replace, press and hold both volume buttons for download mode. You'll have to verify that and adjust if incorrect.
