LG-E400 won't turn on

Hello. I'm new to this forum.

My LG Optimus L3 E400 has been with me for 3 years already and it's rooted. The charging port is broken so I bought a clip charger for it 2 months ago. Unfortunately, the charger broke since it was a cheap one. I wasn't able to buy another one until yesterday and my phone has been idle for a month and a half. I charged my battery to max but when I inserted it to my phone and turned my device on, it didn't. I don't think there's anything wrong with the power button since it was fine the last time I used it. Any advice or suggestions (except going to a repair shop) would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

if you not charge your device for a long time that power offs. when you charge, it takes some time to turn on. after that your mobile charging while power offs. then you can turn on your device. charging with a different charger will be sometimes harmful. you need to use your charger or usb charger.

Inform me if its something helpful.:)

Thank you munemsahariar. The first thing was helpful. But as I've said, my charging port is broken so I can't use a usb charger, that's why I'm using a clip charger.

you have said that exept going repair shop right? and you charging port is broken. in this case you need to replace the charging port. can you do that yourself?

The choice is yours:)

Thank you for your answer. I can do it myself If I had the tools, but sadly, I don't. Plus, I don't want to buy another part and leave my new clip charger to waste. I don't have money to begin with, and if I had, I'll just buy a new phone. I've actually wondered around the web and found out that if a battery is left idle for quite some time, it'll lose it's power. So I'll see if the battery is really the problem and will just buy a new one. But thank you so much for sharing your insights with me.
