Root LG Esteem no wanna root

What baseband version are you on? If it is VZC you are not able to root yet. If you are VZB then there should be no issues with rooting. I would check that first. Go to settings then About Phone and scroll down until you see Baseband Version.
 
and why did you post 2 threads about this?
Any ways, first how did you download the ROM/Kernal?
If you downloaded it off your phone I would try and make sure you have a strong/fast connection because the rom could be broken.
also check your m5dsum

did you install lg esteem driver into your PC? if not then do it.;

Sounds like you have the ZVC update perhaps which is unrootable at the moment. Check in settings>About phone and see what it says under the SW Version. If it says MS910ZVC that's why

Baseband version: MS910ZVC-M7X30-AABBQMLYM-4040

Is there any news on when this ROM will be rootable?
