LG Esteem vs. Galaxy A 3

I'm about to upgrade to GS3 but I wanna know what are the disadvantages?

There's little to none, I would say the screen is more fragile the the esteems.

The screen itself is not more fragile. they're both gorilla glass. It seems to be that the way the S3 is built is less "sturdy". The materials and the form factor make it a bit more prone to get damaged when dropped. That's what I get from all the vids I've seen for the S3. But other then that it's a good step up from the Esteem

The Galaxy's corner to corner glass design instead of having reinforced body at the corners make dropping it more prone to breaking (if it hits on the corner of the phone instead of face flat) due to basic physics. A case that will absorb the impact at the corners will do wonders, even if its just a cheap $2 jelly rubber case.
