Root lg f60

I'm new..but not a complete noob..wanted to know if any other people have..the new lg f60..there is no thread here under phones for it and..I wish to root and get some sort of recovery for it..or at least..see if there is any progress..in that regard..can someone make a listing under phones for this device and share any

Also..I have currently the f6 for metro..love my phone now but want a proper upgrade to KitKat..minus the ROM..plus the f60 has near to 4gb remaining for the user compared to the 1.2gb of my f6

i dont think there's enough demand for LG F60 yet, but i see people are considering F60 as one of their upgrades along with Galaxy Avant

i saw few devs and experience users using it as their daily driver so... eventually it will get its own forum and roms

I think the Avant is better than the F60. The Avant has 16GB of storage compared to the measly 4GB of the F6. Development on those phones are nearly non-existant however.

You can just start a conversation with one. The f6 is really quite congested as it is. I am sure they will help you.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the stock lock screen sound effects on the F60 short of putting the phone on silent/vibrate? They are probably the only thing I dislike about this phone. I much prefer the "dewdrop" sounds of the F6.

Sound>advanced settings>sound effects. Uncheck screen lock sounds.
