Help LG G2 shutting down with Android 5.0.2

I have an unrooted LG G2. I was just upgraded to Android 5.0.2 and now my phone routinely shuts itself off once it reaches around 52% battery life. I have to plug my phone in for it to restart fully and when I do, whatever the last battery reading was, it is now either significantly lower, or even higher in some cases. I have factory reset the device to no resolution.

Anyone have any ideas? I sure do appreciate the help!

If this has only happened since the OS update then I think you're going to have to factory reset it. This will completely wipe the phone so you'll want to make a backup first :thumbsupdroid:
EDIT I'm sorry man, missed the part where you said you'd reset it.
Hmm I'm stumped then sorry

Temp is fine and I also did another factory reset (just for good measure) to no avail. A weird symptom...phone shuts off...I plug it in to completely power it back on and it tells me my battery is at 100%, after it was around 50-60% when it shut down on me. Makes no sense...
