Help LG G2 text-link function issue

Lurker
the lg g2 model purchased is D803 for Canada. Everything about this phone is working great so far.

Here's one slight problem occurred:

The built-in feature, text link, is supposed to pop up a little window with a few function icons when clicking each message received. However, this D803-version lg g2 doesn't have this unique function working at all.

Wishing professionals could solve this soon.

Thanks

I just compared the D800 (ATT) G2 manual with that of D803 (Canada) and the D803 manual does not mention Text Link but the D800 does.

From reading around, looks like the International version (D802) does not have it either but I didn't verify in the manual.

Odd feature to leave out... usually you can figure out at least WHY a feature was left out by a carrier (hotspot/tether, etc.) but am baffled by this omission.

I've seen it on mine, but doesn't wanna work when I try it, but that also could be due to root. I dunno, haven't seen a pressing need to have it work yet lol
