Help LG G3 died and replacement won't update to lollipop.

One night my LG G3 had about 50% battery left when I last checked it. The next time I pulled it out of my pocket it was as dead.

I'm on the Three network in the UK and prior to the phone failing I had updated it to Lollipop through the official roll out.

Anyway, I got my phone replaced within 48 hours from LG support, a good service from them. The replacement phone has Kit Kat installed so I thought OK I'll just check for a system update to take it to Lollipop. When I check for an update it says I'm on the latest version of the OS, hmmm.... I thought. Lollipop is officially rolled out yet I can't update my replacement phone, does anybody have any idea why Lollipop won't push to my phone, has the update been pulled by LG due to bugs perhaps? Has anyone updated to Lollipop in the last few days?

I'd like your thoughts people as to why my phone won't update.

Hi I'm in the UK and I upgraded my unlocked G3 to Lollipop a few weeks ago, I used the LG's PC Suite as it will check for any updates when you plug the phone in, but as you have said you are on THREE is the phone locked to THREE? if so I don't know if you can update it that way. As I went back to KitKat 4.4.2 I have just checked if I can update to Lollipop on my phone and YES I can. I also checked if I can upgrade to 5.0 using the PC Suite and Yes I can. if the above will not work you could do a full reset first and then try to upgrade again if not you might have to send it back to LG again. Most large carriers do staged rollouts; both to ease carrier server loads and to be able to halt updates if the first small stage encounters issues. If the first stages are uneventful, subsequent stages cover more devices until the rollout is complete. But as the previous poster mentioned, you can use PC Suite to obtain the latest version, but for OTA updates, you are at the mercy of what stage you happen to land in.

When the wife and I had the LG G2 (on the same carrier), the Kitkat updates were a week apart. There was a good article last year about how Google rolled out the Nexus 7 updates that explained the whole process, including how checking for updates more than a couple times a day does no good and could even possibly move you down the queue.
