LG G3 Review Roundup Thread

I'm new and the reason I'm persevering with the hardest site I've ever true tried to join is in the hope I'll get to where I can get round the site and throw out quick quips like you guys, so please bear with me. Suz

The dimmer display might make it more an issue for viewing outside. After over two years with the Samsung artificially vibrant displays (I like it though- especially games), that and the dimmer look of the G3 might be off-putting in comparison. S4 looks weak outside too, but everything else is what I refer to.

It is something your eyes adapt to though when not comparing two different displays side by side.

There are several detailed reviews that tested the gpu heavier and same conclusion, but some folks seem to latch on to the more general lack of detail reviews that state battery life is great. Surprised Anandtech has not posted a review yet...

I wouldn't call it handshake:D
Well it's a handshake of sorts, yet the technical complexity is absolutely mind boggling. Despite my gift of superior manual dexterity and great determination, I began to wonder if I'd ever master it.

Just when after months of practice and failure I thought I'd be ejected from the forum, I got lucky and finally performed it perfectly.

Learning the nuances of Android pales in comparison :D

GSMarena reviewed G3 again including EU version and compared to M8.

Point being if you weigh heavy with calls and video, the big battery helps, but when you weight the test with ACTUAL heavy usage of the GPU like with web tests (or games which would drain more), the margin is at least two hours less than other devices.

Again, this is an example of why I expect the battery threads for this device to be even more subjectively silly than previous devices.

Don't forget games too.

Actually I noticed that the battery doesn't drain that much on standby but when screen is on, it drains a bit fast than others with massive battery like this.
