Help LG G3 Stylus (D690/93) Volume Boost

Barto604

Lurker
Hello Everyone,

As you know the LG phone's volume are terribly low, no exception for this model, I was wondering if there's any app or system file i could tweak to increase the volume sound for the ringtone.

The methods i tried are:

- Installing the Volume Booster LG G3 (root) app from the play store:

Status: My Device is not supported for this app.

- Open the File Manager app and then go to the “/system/etc” folder;
Find a file titled “mixer_paths_qcwcn.xml” (for the D855 model) or “mixer_paths.xml”

Status: Those both files are not in the system/ etc folder of my cellphone

- Increase the volume of my ringtone mp3 file
Status: The Audio quality got bad and the song sounds distorted

Device Info:
Model Name: LG D693 ( LG G3 Stylus)
Android : 4.4.2
Root: Yes

Any suggestions really appreciate it,

Anticipate Thanks,

- Barto604

NOTE: I posted my question here since i didn't saw a LG g3 stylus column or roll like the other LG phones

thanks for the welcoming, noob question, where is the settings for me to boost volume on the ringtone?
assuming its on the speaker tab, where i can control the volume levels to boost it more? thanks again for the help
My apologies.
I was focused on media volume, not so much the in-call volume.
A quick glance in the Google Play Store doesn't seem to turn up anything more than separation of various volume controls,or,locking such at a specified level, nothing to actually boost the volume.
I'd take another look over @ XDA -Developers & see if anyone there has a solution.

Yeah, the idea is when people call me i can hear the cellphone ringtone louder than the actual volume of phone, since sometimes i hide my cellphone on my pocket or a bookbag, or instance i left it on a room and goes to another one and the cellphone level for the ringtone is incredibly low, ending me with miss calls from important people.

I notice when choosing a ringtone, example from the settings, the ringtone preview plays louder on the media volume than the actual in call option. And a lot of people have reported this.

Thanks for helping me and sorry if my answer wasn't clear before.

Ok i tried viper4android (try it for testing) and got not results, although in the preview the ringtone sounded way loud when i called myself the volume its still on normal. So i know it doesn't tweak with the main ringtone volume

Yeah,Viper4Android is awesome for music, even with Bluetooth earbuds, the difference is unbelievable.
Too bad it doesn't do anything for in-call volume.

I found this for the LG G3,but,not much else:

Nope that's not it.

Have you tried turning up call volume while talking on your phone?(during a call)

I think you guys still don't understand, the main idea is to boost my ringtone volume, example: someone calls me and it has a predominate ringtone for x person, the idea is to make the ringtone louder so i can hear it if for example I left my phone on my room and i'm at the kitchen, If that persons calls me I can't hear the cellphone ringing cause LG phones have their ringtone levels very low. ( even if the volume is all the way up)

In other terms I want to hear the ringing music of the phone louder than the default value.

Also I started searching on the system folder and i notice this particular file that caught my attention

Here's the inside of it,

Do you think this file may be the "mixer_paths_qcwcn.xml” (for the D855 model) or “mixer_paths.xml” for the LG G3 Stylus?

Appreciate your help
