LG G4, AT&T problems after Google Play update

So I finally updated google play store after a week or so of the phone telling me to. Within 5 minutes of the update the phone froze and now it randomly freezes after each reboot. The only way to get it to work again is to remove the battery for an extended period of time before restarting. A quick battery pull and reboot doesn't work.

This phone is basically stock, I haven't done anything extreme to it. Just normal boring consumer stuff. Is anyone else having this problem, any ideas on how to get it to work again?

I can't get it to stay on long enough to check the OS but it recently updated the OS.

update, now it wont boot at all. It sticks on LG boot up screen no matter how long I take the battery out.

Uh oh, sounds like possibly the bootloop issue, what does S/N start with? If it's 505-507 I would say almost definitely that. Did you buy it new from a shop? More than a little annoying if it has done this on month 13 of the warranty. Don't really know where you stand seeing as they have admitted fault with their devices
