Help LG G4 BATTERY LOSS AND SCREEN PROBLEMS

HI EVERYONE, I recently puschased an lg g4 4 months ago overall its been such and amazing phone, though lately i will lock the screen and come back 30 mins later to see my screen displaying my lock screen.. It drains my battery a lot ie. Ill be at 76% battery i lock my screen come back 10 mins later screen with be displaying the lock sreen and it will bring my battery down to like a 70%, how do i prevent my screen from staying on ive tried everything in the settings. And another problem is battery loss, can someone give me some help as to how to keep my battery storng and so it last a whole day of usage.. Thank you..!

Hey..normally there should be a feature where it asks you what should be your screen response..I guess you have it to come on..so to what you say you want it to do "nothing"..that what you describe happens when ever you get a notification..and try to keep it also at the minimal seconds to be on..am I making any sense?

Do you have a screen protector on the phone? If so the proximity sensor may be picking it up and causing the lock screen to be displayed.
