Lg g4 owner passed away

My mother in-law passed away recently, is there any way to unlock her Android LG 4 that is pattern lock screen protected? We have tried and 5tries remain before auto reset. I've been searching for the answer pretty extensivly and I practice common sense with an advanced knowledge in current tech. A definite answer eludes me. Any ideas?

Might be registered on the same sim inside the cell. Hit forget password, get code in text, you are in or you could reset If not worried about the contents. May she rest in peace, my condolences on the loss to the family.

Sorry for your loss. I don't believe there is a way though, sorry.

You don't happen to know the details for her Google account do you? You could try resetting/unlocking via Android Device Manager via your browser.

Sorry about your mother-in-law.
As @El Presidente mentioned, if you have her Google account password, and Android Device Manager was enabled on her LG, you can try to reset the password to regain access to the phone's contents.

If that's not doable, you can try contacting Google and while it won't reset the phone's password you might at least get access to some of her Google account content:

Sorry for your loss,
There should be a back up pin for every lock pattern did you get to the screen yet?

I"m sorry for the late reply to this thread, considering I"m the one who created it. My wife and I thank you all for all of your condolences. May our beloved mom rest in peace.
we have tried every educated guess we could think of to no avail. Only 2 tries remain. We are not able to figure out any of her google passwords either. Its like trying to gather the information necessary to crack an absolute strangers phone.
She was completely tech illiterate, i can say for certain that the only help she had was in setting up her gmail in the device. All the settings for google and os were factory default. I cant think of anything else that could be of assistance.
We were hoping to at least mabe able to salvage the phone. thank you all for your time and assistance. we are going to try and work with google. in the next few days if anybody has any other ideas we would appreciate it.
thank you.
