Help LG G6 Messaging App Constantly Crashing

Hey all,

I've have the LG G6 for roughly 3 months with no problems. I'm currently on the 11A update VS98811A and I cannot open my Messaging app at all. it will briefly show my messages for roughly 2 seconds and then crash giving me the notification that "Unfortunately, Messaging has stopped" giving me the option to "Open app again". I've tried clearing my Cache and data but that has had no effect. Please let me know if you have a similar issue or have a fix the issue.

Try a different messaging app. Textra, or Google's own Messages would be a good place to start.

Use Google messaging app is better anyway
