It has nothing to do with servers, don't worry.I've learned something. I used SuperSU to unroot - and it appears to have worked. Programs that require root won't work, and programs that check for root say my phone is not rooted. But either Cricket or LG has set a flag on their servers so that if I reset the phone and try to upgrade it (there are two updates to perform) I get a message saying my phone is suspected of being rooted so it cannot be updated. Which I suspect is against the law, per the SCOTA decision against Apple that said the purchaser of a phone has the right to root it, and the manufacturer cannot alter functionality because the consumer has rooted the phone.
Exactly. If the server did block you (which isn't possible). Then it's the carrier's fault. Since Cricket is an MVNO of AT&T. AT&T is A HUGE STICKLER when it comes to rooting, rom flashing, and all of rom development in general. So is Verizon. It has nothing to do with servers, don't worry.
After you have flashed stock rom, enter download mode. If it say rooted in red letters, just do factory reset via key combo, and all traces of root will be gone. You can later check definitive root status if you enter download mode again, it should say not rooted in green letters.
Now, IDK if key combo for factory reset is the same for d321, but for other variants it goes like this:
Turn off the phone. Press and hold vol down and press and hold power button. Once you see lg logo immediately release power key and press and hold it again (all this time you're still holding vol down). Then confirm the factory reset, and you're good to go. It may take several tries until you do it right.
http://androidforums.com/index.php?threads/895818/Um, I can't find stock rom for LG L70 MS323 anywhere. You got a download link?
Is there one of I can't find my backup that I flash like the others that will leave my twrp there ? Or if I restore my stock backup will it wipe my twrp and install the stock recovery cuz I haven't been willing to risk my twrp but would like to play with stock sometimes lol I just have had luck and no pc if the root & recovery method I used were to not work again, is be stuckhttp://androidforums.com/index.php?threads/895818/
Link is in this forum.
Its not like the kdz. Its just the system.img and boot.img that your flashing. TWRP will be fine, make sure you flash supersu.zip so you have root.Is there one of I can't find my backup that I flash like the others that will leave my twrp there ? The mega link says the file has been removed sooo... Wah wah wah....so if I find my stock backup which I just might have, should I remove the recovery img. from it so I don't overwrite twrp? Yes I know I'm such a sissy about losing my twrp lol oohhh wait...I have no clue if I had 10b or c when I originally flashed the first ROM. I used kingroot then Supresume then flashified da twrp and after trying carbon ROM as my first, so I didn't even consider using the stock again and forgot to name the damn file lol oopsIts not like the kdz. Whats wrong is it a bootloop? It says the file is removed over here too. I can't find 10b ANYWHERE. That's why I asked. Someone please give me a link because my phone is now f***ed for life :'3
It doesnt matter whether 10b or 10c. As long as you have root it doesnt matter lolThe mega link says the file has been removed sooo... I didn't think it would lol thanks manIt doesnt matter whether 10b or 10c. As long as you have root it doesnt matter lol
I don't think you can just go straight to simplicity, I tried and no dice then I was told you have to go through a process which looked a lil more complicated for meso nobody has a download link for v10b or c, and can i flash simplicity xl coming from slim lp 5.1.1. that is on ms323
I think the need a flashable zip of 10b. Not the kdz. Life with no pc is a hard oneHoly S***. I'm gone for a few days and you guys can't find anything. Some user had uploaded the firmwares here.
