Help LG L90 on MetroPCS ??

Has anyone gotten one of these new phones yet? Can I get it to work on MetroPCS?

The L70 is offered by MetroPCS while the L90 is offered by T-Mobile. Since the two companies are now one and the same, can't I buy the better L90 and use it on my current provider MetroPCS??

The L90 has twice the storage the L70 has and also a quad processor.

Anyone???

TIA.

You'd have to unlock the phone in order to use it on MetroPCS.

I haven't seen any unlocked L90s yet online, which means you'd have to get T-Mobile to unlock it for you.

I have the L90 and am using it on Metro PCS! I paid for an unlock code and went to a metro store to have it activated on my account .. works great!

You dont have to unlock t mobile phones to work on metro pcs. Just have to register the imei number on your account.

Works. Just bought a Tmobile LG L90 from BESTBUY @ 179 dollars, (while driving back home) got on the phone to try and get Tmobile to release the ESN..... 45 days or some bullshit timer for them to release it from time of purchase. Was activating it via chat message @ metropcs.com and realized my lg esteem SIM did not fit the new phone. All walmarts around me were out of stock for metropcs SIM cards so I ended up paying activation fee for a metropcs authorized dealer to activate it as METROPCS STORES WILL NOT SELL YOU SIM CARDS if you don't pay them for activation.

Either way, awesome phone, (229 dollars at tmobile stores) can be bought for 179 at bestbuy. MetroPCS is literally the same carrier as T-Mobile fellas, it needs no releasing of ESN.

Ended up with a Moto G 16gb version directly from Motorola. Took 2 days to come in. 199.99 free S&H. $25 for card and activation at local METROPCS. I gave up looking for answers on my Best Buy LG L90 fiasco. Those guys are clueless.

Thanks to all who had input on this.

All you have to do is buy the T-Mobile device and take it to a MetroPCS store (as long as it wasn't financed).
No releasing, no unlocking, etc.

You gotta believe this high-featured L90 phone - on the fastest 4G network T-Mobile - but paying MetroPCS plan rates - is stretching the bounds of maximum value.

Wife and I pay $70 total/mo with 2GB 4G LTE each - plus for some reason we've bought two new-in-box L90s last couple months for $75 and $90 on craigs and OfferUp.
