Now, I see that there are quite a few helpful members in this forum who know this device quite well. :)
I on the other hand am not that familiar with rooting this device, let alone the device itself.

Therefore, this call out:
I am asking if anyone would be willing to take over this threads' OP by updating, adding links to roms, kernels, etc.
If so, I can reassign you as the owner of the thread which will allow you to edit the op.
We expect the thread to be kept neat, updated, links to reputable sources (such as AF or XDA, among others), direct links with no adfly links or any other redirects, and basically a library of information with regard to the LG Leon and root.

I would like to have that honor! I have 2 of these devices have had every version and spent countless hours weeding through False information. I love experimenting so I have brought this model back from the dead several times. Just did it now again:)
