I got my first smartphone yesterday and I am having trouble with the music player. It looks like it may be faulty. I was hoping to transfer mp3 files and playlists from my PC to the phone. However when I tested the music player on one of the pre-loaded tunes I found it is impossible to stop the music once it is started. Surely it must be possible to stop the music playing? The LG user manual is a total waste of time. I can pause the tune or re-start it. The only way I can stop the music playing is to turn the phone off. I will not load the playlists until I can find a way to stop the music without turning the phone off.

If you can pause, you've stopped it. If you mean taskwise, just tap the little square on your navbar and swipe the task from the screen.
