I have been having a problem with my LG leon for the past week and a half. It has been changing the brightness to 0 percent and I cannot change it back. When brightness is set to 50 or 100 percent the screen seems to have a white overlay in it. The brightness does not change with the overlay it seems lighter around the edges but that is it. Now up until recently it has been temporarily fixed once I restarted the phone. However it has been in the last four days or so a lot worse. The screen will appear broken. It will become pitch black on the left half of the screen and on the right half it will be extremely dark where you can just barely see the screen. However once again has been temporarily fixed once I restarted the phone. My problem lies in the last two days restarting the phone. Has not fixed the issue with the split screen. Turning the screen on and off for a random amount of times has fixed the issue with the split screen for a unknown amount of time. Sometimes this is fixed for a minute sometimes for a half an hour or longer. Once again enter the brightness issue it seems to be fixed for a random amount of time after a random number of restarts. Where I will be stuck at zero for who knows how long. My problem being it is extremely rare for me to restart the phone in one go and it work perfectly again. Now when ever either one of these problems occur it shuts my screen off and I have to unlock the phone. Not a problem for me but when the split screen issue occurs the only way to restart it is to remove the battery. So in my attempts to fix these problems I have restarted my phone what feels like hundreds of times. I have factory reset my phone. And have removed my sd card sim card and battery for 15 minutes(twice now). None of these has fixed my issue. I do not know if the problem lies in my sd card having a issue. Because when I factory reset the phone it appeared fixed until I inserted my sd card. Now I want to blame the system ui update I got the other day because when I got that these problems started occuring. The phone is running lollipop 5.0.1. The system ui version is 4.90.000019. And the software version is L33L1A. Please advise me on how to fix my phone. I'm not above arguing with tech support for LG and android if need be but I would prefer the forums to help my first. If there is any other information needed let me know and I will get it and post it to the forum
